Yes, in-house teams can be trained to undertake patching works on Nu-Flex. We can provide 1-3m2 ‘repair kits’ to clients on request or as part of a hand over to allow minor repairs cause by damage etc.
Nuphalt Contracting have a fully established Civil Engineering division and are well equipped to undertake all prep works required for the job. This can lead to savings from the efficiencies generated by having just one contractor on site.
Tests have shown that it is difficult to set fire to the Nu-Flex material. Nu-Flex will melt and smoulder rather than combust, but quickly dies out. Nu-Flex is resistant to temperatures of up to 50°C for prolonged periods.
The open texture of the finished material and high PSV allows for excellent grip even in wet conditions. The nature of the material allows water to pass quickly through and away from the surface, thereby minimising the formation of surface water and ice.
In most situations, it does not. Nu-Flex can be overlaid on concrete, tarmac and stone surfaces, presenting a significant cost-saving and a less disruptive installation than a full replacement.
Nu-Flex has a long-term design life of 15 years, promising excellent durability for its intended service life. You can patch any areas of the surface simply with a small kit.
